Rebels Explorer Scout Unit was formed in 2009 as a result of Three Rivers ESU becoming too large and the district having the leadership capacity to split the unit into two. Originally, Rebels operated from Rayne Scout HQ before later relocating to it's current meeting place in Great Leighs in September 2012.
